In July of 2019, we opened our first storefront in downtown Berkeley.
We strive to achieve "less is more," believing that quality will always surpass quantity. Our coffee is no exception.
First, we only source high-quality green coffee beans. However, even with high-quality beans, 3-7% will have some impurities and need to be removed. Therefore, we purposefully hand sort our beans before and after roasting, to ensure all impurities are removed.
To preserve maximum freshness, we utilize finely tuned small-batch roasting. Like wine, coffee beans also need to breathe and age. We allow the beans to rest for several days, capturing the mellowness and richness of the coffee. We complete our espresso with organic whole milk to create an exceptionally smooth and perfectly balanced taste.
